Growth and Biomass Production of Moringa Cultivated in Semiarid Region as Responses to Row Spacing and Cuts

The management of the moringa to produce biomass, as it is for other vegetal species, must consider some aspects that foster productivity. Among these aspects, cultivation density a crucial element. This research aimed assess effects spacing and cuts on growth moringa. treatments consisted four spacings: 0.5 x 1.0 m; 0.83 1.25 1.66 m. experimental design was randomized-block with five repetitions. standardization cut plants performed at one-meter height from ground, fifty days after seedlings transplantation. assessments were every sixty days, totaling six cuts. Spacing impacted biomass production but did not affect plants. stem diameter, branch number, plant’s mass increased increasing spacing. On side, total masses stem, leaflet, petiole per hectare decreased ratio between leaf/stem leaflet/petiole.
